The typical human resources department has, over time, evolved from personnel and single-person maneuver towards becoming a highly multifaceted and complex institution. In some firms, a single person still dominates and performs all the required tasks; however, this has become more of an exception rather than a rule (Fallon & McConnell, 2013).
